About the Author
Julia Jaegersberg

Born the daughter of two journalists, Julia grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, and later moved
to Sussex, near Milwaukee, where she resides today.
She followed in her parents’ pawprints and has worked as an advertising copywriter and
magazine writer throughout her career. This book combines her deep love of art and words
– how they complement one another to share inspiring messages.
Julia loves animals, especially golden retrievers and rabbits, and had a bunny as a child,
named Elsa. She was born with this vision of a year in her head. It helped her understand
how we progress through a year, month by month. She hopes Keeka and her mother inspire
others to share in this vision – making sense of the often-difficult explanation of a year.
